Myrtice Holbrook Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Myrtice Winkles Holbrook, age 77, of Atlanta died September 21, 2004 at her home in Atlanta. A native of Newnan, GA she was born July 31, 1927. The daughter of the late Raleigh Enoch Jessie and Mae Pendergrast Winkles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rufus Harold Holbrook, Sr. and son, David Charles Holbrook. Surviving Mrs. Holbrook is a son Rufus Harold Holbrook, Jr., a brother, Bruce Winkles, aunts, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Service for Mrs. Holbrook will be conducted, Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the graveside in Oakhill Cemetery at 3 P.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 2 P.M. prior to the service at Oakhill. McKoon Funeral Home, (770) 253-4580.
