ANNE COGGINS DeBORDE Anne Coggins DeBorde, born May 22, 1931, died suddenly Thursday, August 16. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John M. DeBorde, III, and her five children: Anne DeBorde Gaston, and her husband Jim, Laura DeBorde Henry, and her husband Brian, Elizabeth DeBorde Bradshaw and finance, Tom Ramsey, Margaret Coggins DeBorde, and John M. DeBorde IV, and wife Sueyin; nine grandchildren who adored their "Coobie"; Laura Gaston Gower (Matt), Will and David Gaston, Lollie Henry, Brice, John and Lee Anne Bradshaw, Kyler and Pailey DeBorde; and 2 great grandsons, Ryan and Evan Gower. Anne graduated from Washington Seminary and attended Pine Manor Jr College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a lifelong member of the Cathedral of St. Philip. Anne was a sustainer for the Junior League of Atlanta where she devoted years to the Peach Pipes as she loved music and singing. She cheerfully committed 33 years as a Pink Lady at Piedmont Hospital where she leaves behind many friends. She served on the Board of the Shepherd Center and was currently serving as a Board Member for the Piedmont Hospital Foundation. She was also an avid reader, took her bridge game very seriously and cherished her walks with John on the beach at Ponte Vedra. Services will be held at the Cathedral of St. Philip Saturday, August 18 at 11 a.m. The family will receive visitors in the Gould Room at 10 a.m. with interment following the service at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cathedral of St. Philip, The Lovett School or Piedmont Hospital. Arrangements by H.M.
