Denise (Drager) Moon, age 56, died at home in Mora, N. M., on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. She died of complications from breast cancer. Born Aug. 11, 1956, in Mankato, Minn., she lived in multiple states before settling in New Mexico. She graduated from high school in Mesa, Ariz.

Survivors include her husband Dannie Moon. In addition, her mother, Betty Drager, survives her. She has two step-sons Jason Moon of Oklahoma and Alan Moon of Texas. She has four sisters, Karen Vickers and husband Vick of Olive Branch, Miss., Joyce Drager of Davenport, Cheryl (Drager) Goodwin and husband Rich of Davenport, and Darla Drager of Mora, N. M. She has two brothers in Cameron, Mo., Jeron Drager and wife Barbara, and Doyle Drager and wife Cheryl. She has multiple grandkids, nieces and nephews, and family friend Patty Rosas. Denise was preceded in death by her father Donald Drager.
