Vernon Eugene (aka Gene) Whitehouse, 76, of Citrus Heights passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
Gene was an Army Veteran who spent the majority of his life in the construction field. His passion was working on cars/trucks and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Gene was 100% cowboy who loved camping, fishing and hunting. You never saw him without his cowboy hat on. Gene is survived by his two siblings, four children, several grandchildren, great - grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to share memories and condolences with the family on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the VFW Post 4647, 3000 U Street, Antelope, California.
