Carolyn Jeannette (Sanford) Holmes

Carolyn Jeannette (Sanford) Holmes (aka Caroline) was raised in Nevada County graduating from Nevada Union High School in 1967. She died at the age of 64 in Auburn, Calif. She started out her career as a waitress then moved on to doing restaurant accounting, which led to her creating computer programs for the restaurant business. She worked for many years as an independent contractor traveling all over the world installing and programming computer systems for restaurants and military PX's.
She is survived by her two nephew's, Jeffrey Demeny and Billy Sanford; great-nieces and nephews; two aunts and many cousins.
Caroline was an active member of the Auburn Food Closet for many years which was near and dear to her heart. If you wish to honor her memory please feel free to donate to the Auburn Food Closet, 2985 Richardson Drive, Auburn, CA 95603.

I grew up with Carolyn on Manzanita Drive in Grass Valley but haven't seen her for years. She was a wonderful woman.
