Matthew Hunt
8/22/1962 - 11/13/2012
Matthew Hunt of Foresthill, Calif. passed away peacefully at his home on November 13, 2012.
Matt was born in the borough of Nottingham, England on August 22, 1962. He moved to California in August 1985. Employed by Bel Air markets since 1990, Matt was a head clerk at the Auburn store. Matt had many hobbies and interests but nothing surpassed his love for cars and motorcycles. He had many friends and those fortunate enough to know him enjoyed his quick wit, sense of humor and his observations on life. Matt had the ability to bring some levity to the day to day routine and had a way of making us appreciate every moment life has to offer.
He is survived by his parents John and Mary Hunt, sisters Nikki and Jo and her husband Alexander, nieces and nephews Thomas, Emily, Annabel, Walter and Jemima.
In keeping with Matt's wishes for laughs instead of tears, friends are invited to share memories and stories and celebrate his life and bid him a fond farewell at Pistol Pete's on December 11, 2012 between the hours of 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Rip dear Matt - you, your wonderful wit and sense of humor will be dearly missed.

Matt I know we never met , but even before you leaving this world nikki used to brag about her big brother and how we would get on great, well I'm so sad we never did meet but just to let you know there's not one day that you are not in her heart and that I will try to look after her as much as you did xx
