Buhan, William - Auburn  
William Buhan 11/13/1931 - 08/30/2015 Passed away on August 30, 2015. He was a beloved father, Veteran and husband. Until he became ill, he enjoyed karate, walking his dogs, staying fit, gardening, and discussing philosophy. Born November 13, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, to two immigrant parents from the Ukraine, Peter and Mary Buhan. He was the first generation son to be born in the United States. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill worked for Acco Air Conditioning for most of his career in the Los Angeles and Bay Areas where he was remembered as a tenacious worker with a strong work ethic. He married his first wife in 1957, Elaine Gill Buhan and fathered two daughters, Eve Buhan Ahl married to James Anthony Ahl of Vacaville, Calif. and Stacy Ellen Lay married to Douglas Owen Lay of Canton, Ga. and has four grandchildren from that union, Danielle, Hilary, Marybeth and Brian and one great grand-daughter, Dahlia Josette. Survived by his wife, Mechelle Wieand Buhan, he cherished her in all things. Bill will be remembered by her two children, Ronald Weiand, of Rocklin, Calif. and Diane Weiand Laino of Lincoln Calif. Clark, Shirley Patricia  
Shirley Patricia Clark 08/01/1957 - 08/20/2015 Shirley Patricia Clark entered into rest at the young age of 58 on August 20, 2015. Delivered from this world before her time, leaving a legacy of family and friends, she reminds us all to be kind and compassionate to others. She was born August 1st 1957 in Sacramento, Calif. She is preceded in death by parents Faye and Lester Clary. She is survived by her three children, Megan and husband Josh West, son Danny and wife Stephanie Clark, and Jenny and husband John Giltner and their father Dana Marion Clark whom she married Sept 26, 1980. The light of her life were her four grandchildren who she generously showered with love. She was a Placer High School graduate of the class of 1975, and Frederico Beauty College graduate. Shirley found her perfect niche during the decades preceding the end of her earthly life as a Retail Customer Service representative where she could share acceptance, and kindness with all walks of life. She had also worked as a beautician, Nursing Aid, and in Nutrition for her childrens' school. Her upbringing included six years of service in 4H Clubs in Placer County where she was successful at raising a Grand Champion dairy cow, Augustina, and spent years perfecting homemaking skills such as sewing and food preservation. She passed these skills on to her children who are still sharing her legacy with others. Shirley is also survived by an array of siblings, Lee Rembold, Robert, Bill, Eva, Sandi (Wasson), Joe, Kenny Clary, and Sharon. She is survived by her Foster mother, Lola Hubbard, foster siblings Alan and Wayne Hubbard, mother in law Goldie Clark, and preceded in death by foster father Lloyd Hubbard and father in law Marion Clark. A Celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Bayside Church of Citrus Heights at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. We thank God for the loving care provided by Interim Care Hospice. She asked that any donations be given to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1317 King St. Alexandria, VA at www.curemeso.org on Shirley's Tribute Wall.

DiDiovanni, Eunice Mae Beard "Noonie"  
Eunice Mae “Noonie” Beard DiGiovanni 08/28/2015 Eunice Mae “Noonie” Beard DiGiovanni died peacefully in her Colfax, California, home on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born in Jonesville, Louisianna, the eldest of four children. Eunice is survived by her daughters: Donna Camera of Redwood City, Calif. and Linda DeBernardi of Colfax; her sister: Thelma Beard Tyson of Natchez, Mississippi; three granddaughters and nine great grandchildren. Eunice is preceded in death by her husband, Peter DiGiovanni; her brother, Lovice Beard; and her sister, Jimmy Beard Weatherly. Eunice is remembered by all as a kind, patient grandmother who loved to crochet, sew and work in her garden. She met her husband in Natchez, Mississippi, where she worked in a uniform factory, where Pete was an army inspector. They married in February of 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where their first daughter, Donna, was born in 1945. Linda followed soon after in 1948. Eunice was an accomplished seamstress, and she possessed a keen wit- one that earned her the honor of Valedictorian of her high school in Monterey, Louisiana, in 1939. A memorial will be held at Eunice’s Colfax residence on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are very grateful for the wonderful service provided by the Auburn Faith Hospice staff. Marvin C. Green Jr. 08/29/2015 Of Meadow Vista, Calif., August 29, 2015, a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, age 80 years. Loving husband of Beverly Green. Cherished father of Michael (Connie) Green, Eric (Elaine) Green, Lisa (Charles) Scott and Kurt Green. 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brother of Sandra (Richard) Pacheco and the late Dorothy Green. Marvin was an active and devout member of the LDS Church. He served in various leadership positions in the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years. The last 23 years of Marvin's professional career he served as a building inspector for Placer County. Pamela Jeanne Davis 01/18/1958 - 08/22/2015 Pam passed away August 22, 2015 and was born in Utica, N.Y. on January 18, 1958 to Curtis Edwin and Elizabeth Kauth Davis. Pam is survived by her mother Betty Davis, sisters Barbara Davis, Debbie Davis & Charlotte Mayberry, Beth Davis & Robert Ekholdt, Kathy Davis, Mary Davis Jacobs & Michael Jacobs and daughter Kathleen Ruth Heseman & Sharina Marie. Pam was preceded in death by her father Curtis Edwin Davis, brother Curtis Davis, Jr and sister in law Cassie Betker Davis. Pam is survived by nieces and nephews Tracy, Tim & Marissa, Curtis, Arlo, Lila, Naomi, Jasmine, and Graham. Pam had numerous dear friends, among them Ruth Embry Mollica, Susan Barnes, Cassie Betker Davis, Lee Godfrey and Jack Sandgren. Who will also miss her strength, courage and her big heart filled with love. Pam had a love of music and found comfort, inspiration and peace in the lyrics to many songs we could all learn from. Pam was a gifted artistically and left behind thought provoking, glorious works. She adored dogs and sweet old lady Georgia misses her. We will miss Pam's "far side" humor and soft spoken wit and wisdom. While listening to Janis Joplin our bad ass Harley riding angel Pam flew peacefully to Heaven with family by her side. Maxine Turner Law 08/16/2015 Law, Maxine Turner age 98. Longtime 'transplanted' Loomis resident died peacefully at home August 16, 2015 in Sacramento. Originally from Bartlesville, Okla. was the oldest of seven children and outlived them all. Moved to San Francisco then to Sacramento before marrying Frank Law of Loomis. Maxine worked in various secretarial jobs throughout her career. Survived by son Mike (Joyce) of Sacramento and daughter Gail (the late Jerry Yerby) of Ada, Okla. A memorial service is planned for sometime in January.

Moore, Janet - Auburn  
Janet Moore 07/16/1956 - 08/25/2015 Janet Moore passed away unexpectedly at age 59 surrounded by her loving friends and family at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital on August 25, 2015, due to complications from ongoing health issues. She was born on July 16, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Janet grew up in Fremont, California, where at age six, she met Valerie Joyner, her life time friend, and became a part of the Joyner family. In 2000 Janet relocated to Auburn, California. She worked and retired from Farmers Insurance. She was a dedicated volunteer at Auburn Interfaith food closet, and her church home Upper Room Community Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Robina Moore, father, William Moore, and uncle Jimmy Moore. Janet also leaves behind her cousin Ray Bruce Moore, his wife Julie Moore and family, cousin Charles Cowburn from England and many friends. A viewing will take place at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, Calif. on September 4, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., with burial to follow at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Dr. Auburn, Calif. at 10:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following the burial at Upper Community Church, 11641 Blocker Drive Suite 280, Auburn, Calif. Seymour, Irene Caroline  
Irene Caroline Seymour 08/09/2015 Irene Caroline Seymour passed away on August 9, 2015 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Roseville, Calif. Irene was 89 years old. Irene was a resident of Roseville Commons for the past year and a resident of Sun City Lincoln Hills for the previous 13 years. She had many friends in both communities. Irene was a long-standing member of the United Methodist Church in Lincoln and a soloist with the Gold Country Senior Band. She was also a volunteer at the Maidu Senior Center and Sutter Recreation and Respite Center. She was recognized as 2008 Placer County Volunteer of the Year and for the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award from President Bush, having garnered more than 17,000 hours of volunteer endeavors. Irene’s friends, family, singing, volunteerism and her church were the center of her happiness and we are grateful she had them all throughout her long life. Irene C. Inabnit was born in St. Louis, Mo. She later moved to the San Francisco Bay area and then later to Roseville, following her retirement from Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. Irene was predeceased by her first husband Robert U. McAnulty, her second husband, William (Bill) Heming and third husband, William (Glenn) Seymour. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Robert (Bob) McAnulty, wife Evelyn and Richard (Ric) McAnulty, wife Marsha and her grandchildren Kathy, Brenda, Jenna and Evan. Irene was a great-grandmother of five. At Irene’s request, no funeral will be held. Neptune Society has made arrangements for her ashes to be scattered in the San Francisco Bay, which she loved. The family would like to thank all who have helped Irene in life and during her passing. Special thanks to the staff and activities director(s) at Roseville Commons who made her last year one of the most special years she has had in a long time. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday September 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maidu V Community Center.

Patrick Jacob Swisley 08/25/2015 Patrick Jacob Swisley, 61, passed away on August 25, 2015 after a full and wonderful life. Pat is survived by his loving family, Randi (wife), and children Dylann, Koal and John. He is also survived by his mother Eleanor and 3 brothers, Mike (Jeanette), Bill (Mary Ann), and Bob (Lisa). Pat was a wonderful, funny, and kind father, husband and friend. He was well loved and will be sorely missed, but is reunited with his father, Thomas. A service will be held at the New Auburn Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.
