CHISESI, Joseph (Joey) F., retired local musician and entertainer, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at his Lincoln residence. He was 86.
A celebration of life is scheduled for November 9, 2 p.m. at Lincoln Hills Community Church, 950 East Joiner Parkway, in Lincoln. Joey was born July 31, 1927 in Chicago IL. He was a musician, producer, writer, journalist and businessman. He served in the US Navy in World War II and as president of the local Veterans Club in 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Catherine; his children: Craig, Lawrence, Joseph, Thomas, Diane, Daniel, Barbara; and his seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his late wife Joan. In addition to being a great entertainer,musician,writer,journalist and businessman, Joey was a gentleman and a gentle man. I will miss his tremendous enthusiasm for everything that his bountiful life had to offer.
