Ralph W. Enzler
A Celebration of Life or "Ralpheration" (as one of his children has suggested) for Ralph W. Enzler, will be held November 17, 1:00 p.m. at Maidu Park Community Center in Roseville. Ralph passed away Friday, October 18 at his home of 45 years in Citrus Heights, with his loving wife of 49 years Ginger Enzler by his side, along with his two sons. He is survived by his six children, Kerina Salazar, Cheryl Thomas, Ja'Neen Walker, Keith Enzler, Koren Culberson and Mike Enzler. Ralph is also survived by his two loving sisters, Shari Crew and Joey Dunn. Ralph was a graduate of Placer High School (class of '56). Ralph was born in Richmond, CA. The family moved to Pilot Hill to their "pear ranch", where the family raised sheep and cattle along with growing pears. Later the family moved into Auburn and then when Ralph was 18 the family moved to the 360 acre ranch off Dry Creek Rd. Ralph was an avid athlete in his younger days, playing for Placer High School, Sierra College and later in his 30's a member of the Sacramento semi-pro football team's, "The Sacramento Statesman and Sacramento Buffaloes". Ralph spent years working for local car dealerships as a Service Writer. He had a passion for the classic Chevy and Studebaker cars. In the mid-70's Ralph became a Farmers Insurance agent and remained in the insurance industry until retirement in 2011. We will all miss Dad's thriftiness, humor, and his unique way of never throwing anything away. The "Ralpheration" will be a celebration of Dad's life, with great stories, a light meal and plenty of laughter. The family will have a private spreading of his ashes prior to the "Ralpheration". The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to UC Davis Hospice, 3630 Business Drive, Sacramento 95820. If you cannot make this event, please remember Dad when you visit his favorite store, "Harbor Freight Tools".
