Frank was born September 29, 1930 in Ventura, Calif., and passed away April 20, 2013 in Meadow Vista, Calif. Frank attended Canoga Park High School and worked as a CHP officer for 27 years; 14 of those years were out of the Gold Run office. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and his many jokes. His generosity and willingness to help others will not be forgotten. He loved all animals, rather than kill a spider he would take it outside. He also loved working outside. He could always be found somewhere on his 10 acres cutting and gathering wood.
Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine J. Miller; his children: Kathleen Martin of Woodland Hills, Calif., Beth Kirk of Rocklin, Calif., Steven Miller of Tehachapi, Calif., Susan Miller of Oakdale, Calif.; brother, Robert Miller of Winnetka, Calif.; a niece and a nephew; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, Calif. A funeral service will be held after the viewing at 12 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills with a graveside service to follow at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Drive, Auburn, Calif.
