Dad, we just passed 9 years since you left us and I miss you more every day. The passage of time only increases my realization of what a special person you were and how fortunate I was to have you as my father. With all of the chaos and drama of these days I long even more for you straightforward, nonjudgmental love and support. You are missed.

Dad, It is not possible for me to convey what a special father you are. Your love and affection are with me everyday. The holidays are tough this year without you, but I know that you are with us in spirit. Dad,I love you and will always miss you.

Dear Jerry (Dad),
I am honored and thankful that I am part of your family. You aways treated me as one of your own children, never judgemental and always kind, caring and supportive. I will miss your presence at our family gatherings, especially holidays and birthdays. Your humor and your stories - well- you kept us amused and laughing. I am proud to have you as my Father in Law. Until we all meet again in heaven may the Lord bless you and keep you.
Love, Robin

Dad was a wonderful friend, father, and dear husband to all those who knew him. He had a fantasic sense of humor, and loved telling funny stories at family gatherings. He had a huge passion for trains, airplanes, and classic cars, and he loved photography & taking videos of special events for his close friends and family. He had a very kind heart, and was always willing to help those who were in need. He really was a very special person, and i hope he knows that i always loved him very much, even if at times i did not always show it. Unfortunately he had a very serious stroke about 1 month ago, that was very hard on him and our family. He was in the hospital trying to recover, unable to swallow, we drove down everyday from Weimar to Kaiser in Sacramento hoping that he would recover, but unfortunately he did not get better or improve. I was the last person to see him before he passed away on Thursday evening around 8pm. I brought my mp3 player to play his favorite music from the 50's- Marty Robbins-El Paso & A White Sport coat & Earth Angel, songs that he and my mom loved to listen to from when they first met. I was hoping that he might wake up and talk to me, but he never did, i rubbed his feet, and held his hands, and kissed his forhead, and told him how much i loved him, and that he should not worry about me or mom, that i would look after her so she would be ok. I know dad is in a better place now, his quality of life from the stroke was not the best, i know and feel that he is in a better place. God Bless, someday soon we will all be together again as a family.

We are very sorry that we are unable to attend the services. We visited with him while in the hospital and were able to interact with him on some days. Life with dad was wonderful. He was an amazing father. He always made us laugh with his cheerful and funny sense of humor. We all have many memories of dad and we will always cherish them. I am very thankful that Heavenly Father gave us the father we had because he shaped and molded me (Randy) the way I am today. He was always there for me and always gave me good advice. I will miss him dearly, but I'm glad that he is in a better place and at peace. Mom, Danny, Bruce, Robin...we love you very much. We send our love and a big hug to everyone.
