Chester Brzyscz passed away on April 29, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21, 1923. Chester was a World War II Marine Corps veteran who received a citation of merit for his actions in the midst of enemy fire on Iwo Jima. Chester was a heavy equipment operator and upon his retirement, a property developer. He enjoyed many trips and outdoor adventures with his beloved wife, Millie, who passed away in 2011.
Chester is survived by his 3 children Bruce (Judy) Brzyscz, Jerry (Christie) Brzyscz, and Christine (Doug) Hunt, 2 grandchildren--Bret (Laurel) Brzyscz and Megan (Toney) Sebra, and 5 great-grandchildren--Logan, Trevor, and Gage Brzyscz and Connor and Sonya Sebra. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Chester will be greatly missed by his family, 3 wonderful caregivers, and his devoted cat Delilah. A private inurnment will be held at the New Auburn Cemetery.
