Cordelia "Corky" Maria Anaya

Cordelia "Corky" Maria Anaya has gone to the Blue Light Special in the sky last Sunday, October 16, 2016. If you saw Corky around town, you would find her at the local Dollar Tree searching for the perfect nicknack to send to someone she held dear to her heart with tons of love. Corky was a devoted grandmother. She attended every practice, every game, and every event her grand-babies participated in from infant thru adulthood. In her spare time, besides doing granny things, you could find her in the kitchen doing crosswords with her favorite colorful markers, or in her spare room watching horror movies. Granny loved her out of the house activities as well. She loved her monthly Bunco get together of dice play, eating, and casual wine drinking. It doesn't end there! You could find Corky bowling at the local bowling lanes with her bright yellow Tweety Bird bowling ball hitting strikes like no ones business, or you could find her playing golf at the local links in her put together outfits. Corky is survived by her devoted husband Clarence Anaya of 54 years, loyal daughter Julia Trujillo, son Michael Anaya, her identical twin sister Cecilia Manriquez, eldest sister Elsie Cunningham, youngest sisters Pricilla Martinez and Josephine Jimenez, her grand-daughters Tamra Potter and Tara Trujillo-Smith, and her great-grandson Archer Smith. We will miss her unconditional love and quirky sense of humor.
