Helen Costa
9/20/1937 - 2/3/2014

Helen Costa was born on September 20, 1937 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She went to Heaven on February 3, 2014. Helen was surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Helen was a loving wife for fifty years to the late Angelo Costa, Jr. Helen's first love was her family. She is survived and will be missed by her two sons, Bruce and Mark Costa and daughter Lori Costa. Additional family members are daughter-in-law Laurie Costa and grandchildren Joshua, Amber, Bruce Jr. and Brittani. Helen is also survived by her mother-in-law, Janice Costa and brothers-in-law, Kevin Costa and Peter Costa and sister-in-law, Jill DaCosta.
Helen was a "Rock Star". She was a wonderful mom to her children, in addition to many others she cared for and loved. Her amazing heart was as incredible as her strength. She enjoyed shopping, movies, lunches and conversation. Helen will be remembered for touching and enriching the lives of those with whom she engaged. She was admired and loved by friends of all ages.
Helen's spiritual devotion was her strength and character. She was one of the founding members of her church. After 23 years, Helen was elated when the hard work and struggles resulted in St. Augustine Episcopal Church having a permanent place to call home.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life in Helen's honor on Saturday, February 15, 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 1800 Wildcat Blvd, Rocklin, CA, 95765. Reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine Episcopal Church.
