Mae Ross Epperson, passed quietly on June 8, 2015 in Citrus Heights Calif. Born in Oakland Calif., Mae spent many years in various towns in California, coming back to Oakland where she met the love of her life, Frank Epperson. There, they raised 4 children, finally settling in Petaluma Calif. in 1970. After Frank passed in 1980, Mae moved to Roseville and spent many happy years volunteering at Maidu Center where attendees will remember her cheerful greeting. Mae is survived by her children, Tricia Welter, Santa Rosa, Barbe Seal, Dayton Nev., Gretta Harris, Roseville, Jim Epperson, Woodland, 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral mass was held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Petaluma Calif., and Mae was laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, also in Petaluma. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities.
