Robert Alexander Culbertson

Robert Alexander Culbertson
9/30/1971 - 2/21/2013

Robert Alexander Culbertson has found peace. He was blessed to have the gift of his wife Annie and their two children, Taylor 15 and Robert (Bo) Jr., 11. He is survived by his loving mother, Caroline; his step-father, Phillip Steele; brothers, Jeff (Jenifer), Mike (Anna), Todd, Patrick; and sister, Debbie Prescott. He is also survived by his loving in-laws, Jim and Diana Skokan; brothers-in-law, Jim Skokan (Becky), Paul Skokan (Monica); sisters-in-law, Debbie Rossetto (David), Denise Cervantes (Jesse), Cindy Stanley (Jeff) and Theresa Skokan. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Culbertson. He had many nieces and nephews that he adored and they adored him. Uncle Robert was a favorite!
Robert was born and raised in Lincoln and attended Lincoln schools. He moved to San Jose after he graduated and started in the real estate field with his brother, Jeff. It is there that he met and married the love of his life. He moved back to Lincoln shortly after the birth of their daughter.
Robert was one of those rare individuals that never just entered a room. He would "arrive" with an infectious smile and personality made up of immense charisma that would bring life to every gathering he attended. These traits allowed him to excel for many years as a Realtor and Coach for his children's sports teams. He was dedicated to not only being a great teacher on the field or court but also off the field or court as well. He truly loved coaching children.
There was not a sport Robert did not enjoy. He was a great golfer, softball player and basketball player. Those who knew him and played sports alongside him knew his passion for life came with him in sports.
Robert's passing leaves a hole in his family and community that will not be filled. Services will be held February 27, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a celebration of his life immediately following at the McBean Park Pavilion.
