Attorney Robert Burns Bostwick

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - Attorney Robert Burns Bostwick, age 87, of Roseville, Calif., formerly of Danville, Calif., and Saratoga, Calif., passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at home, with his beloved wife, Beverly, and his loving family by his side.
He was born on August 30, 1926, in San Francisco, Calif., the son of Robert Burns and Katherine (Scannell) Bostwick and was a graduate of Burlingame High School, Burlingame, Calif. He was a graduate of the College of San Mateo and University of California Law School. Robert was a veteran of World War II and served in the USAAF. On July 4, 1991, he was married to Beverly (Barovero) Davis in Saratoga, Calif. Mr. Bostwick was a Trial Attorney specializing in medical malpractice and injury cases and was founder and partner in Bostwick & Rowe P.C. in San Jose, Calif., and has been practicing law for sixty years. He was past president and founder of Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Assoc., and member of the California Trial Lawyers Assoc., American Trial Lawyers Assoc., and State Bar Assoc. of Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly; three daughters, Susan Caldwell and her husband, Ty, of Fullerton, Calif., Salli Peterson, of Vernon Hills, Ill., and Robin Bostwick, of Sacramento, Calif.; two step-sons, Dana Davis and his wife, Jerri, of Roseville, Calif., and Darrin Davis and his wife, Kelli, of Granite Bay, Calif.; Ten grandchildren, Erik, Brian and Sonya Peterson, Kelsey Bostwick, Taylor Leigh Caldwell, Michael LaMonte, Brett, Lauren, Colton, and Kaycee Davis; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Gloria Bostwick, of Fair Oaks, Calif.; two nieces, Debra Oliver and Julie Bostwick; and dearest friend, Don Applegate and his wife, Judy.
He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine T. Bostwick, on September 1, 1994, and his father, Robert Burns Bostwick, Sr.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services at 4 p.m., on Monday, September 9, 2013, at Cochrane & Wagemann, 103 Lincoln St., Roseville, CA, with Father Philip Massetti, OSJ, officiating, followed by a celebration of Bob's life service at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Monday, September 9, 2013 prior to the funeral home services.
Friends and relatives are also invited to attend the entombment committal services to be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Reflections Mausoleum, at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos - Almaden Rd., San Jose, Calif., with Father Rick Rodoni, officiating.
