Graydon Leo Byrne
1925 - 2013

Graydon passed peacefully in his sleep on November 16, 2013 in Auburn, Calif. at the age of 88. Graydon was born in Roseville, Calif. and grew up in Auburn surrounded by many cousins and family. He proudly served in the Navy in World War II. His wit and gift of listening to people served him well in his over thirty years as a bartender. He was well known while working for Lou La Bonte's Restaurant for over 28 years. He enjoyed NASCAR auto racing, fishing, and sharing stories with family and friends. Graydon was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years Marsha Byrne. His mother Rose Byrne, and his sisters Mary Alice Christiany, and Katherine Negus. Graydon is survived by his niece Lisa Gorman, his nephews Joe Christiany, and Dan Negus. Step children Debbie Clark, Roger Mann, and Brenda Osborn and their families.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday December 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Applegate Civic Center. 18014 Applegate Road. Applegate, Calif.
