Elinor Abrams Obituary

SKANEATELES | Elinor Hunter Abrams, died Saturday, Nov. 10. Born in Auburn in 1921, she graduated from Auburn High School, Cortland State Teachers College and did graduate work at Syracuse University. She taught third Grade and kindergarten at Skaneateles Central School. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She served as Vestry person, on the Women's Board, taught Sunday school, was chair person of the Evangelism Committee and worked in the thrift shop. She was a member of the Skaneateles Country Club and the women's golf league and drove for “FISH.� She was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 2011. She is survived by two sons, Duane H. and Dale C. Abrams; a daughter Lynn Abrams; and three grandchildren. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in St. James Episcopal Church, Skaneateles. Burial in Lake View Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Skaneateles Library or The American Cancer Society. To send condolences visit: robertdgrayfuneralhome.com

elinor one of the sweetest persons ever as i helped out in her classroom her and her cliffy as she called him what a beautiful couple they gave back so much to our community gone but forever in our hearts forever friends god speed
