Debbie was a wonderful roommate and friend who inspired me to finish college. Her sense of humor and love of life was contagious. Last week I received a phone call from AZ to let me know that our other roommate (Judy Shetler Gadek) has joined Debbie in Heaven. My first thought was that Deb and Judy are once again sharing a beer together. For those of you who knew these special women, remember how much they influenced everyone that they came in contact with. I can only say: R.I.P. my friends/roommates. I love you both.

Debbie Clinch was one of the most strong, funny, independent, direct and loving women I have ever had the honor to meet. I know that she is so strong that she will have to give you signs that she is happy and ok. Look for the signs and love her every day with all your heart. She'll know.

I knew Debbie from her days as a teacher at Head Start,
She was one of the best teachers I worked with....firm, kind, compassionate with a deep understanding of children.
Due to her gifts, she got the more difficult children, but handled them with grace and, of course, great humor. I always looked forward to my meetings with her. She left an indelible impression and I am very sorry to hear of her passing.

We went to high school with Debbie (Faye Duffy Clark and Steve Clark). Also, I, Faye went to Auburn Community College with Debbie. Debbie and my cousins, Donna and Mary Ann Crim were friends during our Jr. College years. Debbie's Aunt Lil and Uncle Ted were dear friends of mine (Faye). We are so sorry to hear of you Debbie's passing. Please extend our sympathy to Jeanie and Joanne. We will keep you all in our prayers. Faye and Steve Clark

I truly can't believe Debbie is gone. She was one of my very best friends when we were in our twenties. What good times we had and so many laughs! Over the years, I have often told others of the crazy times "Clinch" and I had. She was so witty, smart and so well-liked by all. She was a wonderful person to know. I was always so sorry that our lives grew apart from each other.

She loved her daughters so much and worked so hard to give them the best life she could. My prayers and thoughts are with you girls.

I will miss her and think of her often. She was so special and I loved her dearly. She will always have a very special place in my heart and so many other's hearts, as well.

My parents both worked with Debbie, and my mom introduced us when Deb bought the house on Cottage Street. I was her tenant and downstairs neighbor for 6 years, but we became friends very quickly. You couldn't help but love Debbie! We had so much fun together... Debbie was always good for a laugh, as well as advice and became my "mom away from mom." I will never forget the fun we had, and how good she was to me, my friends and family over the last 13 years. I wish she could have been around longer so my little boys could get to know her the way I did. Christen, Melanie, and family, my heart is breaking for you, I know you were the most important thing in the world to Debbie and I know she is looking out for you now as she always has. Emily
