PORT BYRON | Richard (Dick) L. Goodrich Sr., 73, of Port Byron, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Auburn Community Hospital. Dick was born in Weedsport on March 3, 1939, and was the son of Henry and Florence Spade Goodrich. He was a graduate of Weedsport Central School. He was employed as a certified toolmaker for McQuay Industry of Auburn for more than 37 years. He was a volunteer fireman since 1990 in the Throop Fire Department and was a lifemember. He and his wife enjoyed spending winters in Bushnell, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Nathalie Babcock Goodrich; children, Richard Goodrich Jr., of Florida, Annette Chamberlain, of Auburn, Cheryl (Larry) Abraham, of Conquest, Susan (David) Kincaid, of Conquest, Sheila Moore, of Weedsport, Robert Wilson, of Auburn; sister, Geraldine Revette, of Port Byron; brothers, Morris Goodrich, of Florida, Raymond Goodrich, of New Jersey, and Francis Goodrich, of Buffalo; grandchildren, Craig (Jess) Kincaid, Trista (Josh) Brundage, Jeff Abraham, Joshua Russell, Brandon Moore, Caitlynne Abraham, Coty Abraham, Nichole Goodrich and Danielle Goodrich. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Richard Chamberlain. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, from the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Throop Fire Department, Beech Road, Auburn, NY 13021, in "Dick" Goodrich Sr.'s name.
