Services for Annabelle M. Madsen, 76 of Tipton, Mo., were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the Parent-Sorensen Funeral Home in Petaluma, Calif. Graveside services and interment were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the VA National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif. Arrangements were under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles, Mo., and Parent-Sorensen Funeral Home in Petaluma, Calif.
Annabelle Marie Madsen, age 76, of Tipton, Mo., passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Mo. She was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Griswold, the daughter of the late Leslie and Anna Inkhen Robinson.
She was united in marriage on July 12, 1953, in Wiota, to Dallas Madsen, who survives of the home.
Annabelle was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in California, Mo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Scott Madsen of Toppenish, Wash. and Dale Madsen of Irving, Texas; her daughter, Joyce Carter of Petaluma, Calif.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine Nelson of Mexico, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Madsen, her brothers, Harvey Robinson and Jesse "Jake" Robinson, and her sister, Dorothy Robinson.
