Jerene Christensen Andersen

The Celebration of Life Graveside Memorial Service for Jerene Christensen Andersen, 63, was conducted by Pastor Steven Frock on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Exira Cemetery in Exira. Inurnment was in the Exira Cemetery. Kessler Funeral Home in Exira, was in charge of the arrangements.
Jerene Christensen Andersen of Conroe, Texas passed away after battling a plethora of health maladies on Nov. 21, 2010.? Jerene was born to Nels Christensen and Jo Ellen Bengard-Christensen on Dec. 21, 1946 in Atlantic. She attended Exira High School, after which she went to school to study cosmetology, before discovering her true ambition was merely being a wonderful mother and house wife.
Jerene had many things she loved partaking in. She loved gardening, in which she had such a green thumb she could make anything grow, sewing, antiques, and being in the accompaniment of her beloved family, as well as faithfully watching Joel Osteen, who she admired so much.?
Jerene was preceded in death by her parents Nels Christensen and Jo Ellen Bengard-Christensen; her brother Timothy Christensen; and her son Jeffrey Paul Andersen.
She leaves behind her soul mate Paul Andersen; her children Bradley Paul Andersen, and Jennifer Jo Andersen-Bailey, her very beloved grandchildren who made her so very proud Chance Avery Vyoral, Alyssa Nicole Rodriguez, and Chase Hunter Bailey all of Conroe, Texas; her sister Sue Ann Heyne of Atlantic; her nieces and nephew Clark Allen Christensen, Angela Jo Christensen, and Cassandra Heyne. She also leaves behind a myriad of family members. ? Jerene was a lovely, courteous, woman who battled her disease with such strength and courage. She took pride in her immeasurably loved grandchildren, who she treasured and loved with all her heart. Her memory will be deeply remembered, and she will be deeply missed by those she touched. May she finally be in peace, and will hold a special place in our hearts.
Jerene's family would like to thank Dr. William Brown for being such an outstanding Doctor who gave us such strength throughout her illness, as well as his nurse Carla.
