Judith A. Schoeppner, 65, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Audubon passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Monarch in Lincoln, Neb.
Memorial services were at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Fall's Reception Hall, 5925 Adams Street.  In honoring Judy's wishes to be cremated there will be no viewing or visitation.  Lincoln Family Funeral Care in Lincoln is handling services.
Judith Ann Schoeppner was born March 21, 1948 in Carroll, the daughter of Wayne and Evelyn (Madsen) Huffman.  She grew up in Audubon, and graduated from Audubon High School with the class of 1967.  Judy married Eugene Schoeppner on Dec. 7, 1968.  She graduated from Bryan School of Nursing in 1985.  Judy worked as a nurse at Lincoln General and Center Point, both in Lincoln, Neb., before having to retire because of her health.  She and her husband moved to Iowa in 2006 and returned to Lincoln in 2012.  Judy enjoyed working with stained glass, sewing, refinishing furniture and sewing machines, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Huffman.
Judy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Eugene; one son, Troy Schoeppner and his wife Becky of Lee's Summit, Mo.; two daughters, Jill Hurtz and her husband Daniel of Columbus, Neb., and Beth Miller and her significant other Jeff Bashore of Lincoln, Neb.; seven grandchildren, Cole, Morgan, Lily, Colby, Katelyn, Landry, and Laney; two step-grandchildren, Becca and Raechel; one sister, Jane Korwes and her husband Vern of Carroll; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
