Funeral services for Kate Marie Griffith, infant, will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon. Father Emmanuel Agwuoke officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Audubon. The Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon was in charge of the arrangements.
Kate Marie Griffith, the daughter of Andrew Donald and Heather Jo Bylund Griffith, was born March 4, 2014, at the Methodist Women's Hospital in Omaha, Neb. and died March 4, 2014, at the Methodist Women's Hospital in Omaha.
Kate was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Don and Lorinda Tasler; Milo Bylund; Levi and Lovila Hansen; and Merlin Umland.
Survivors include her parents Andy and Heather Griffith of Audubon; her sister Emma Griffith of Audubon; her grandparents: Roger and Marge Griffith; Roger and Julie Bylund; and Patty and Gary Umland all of Audubon; her great-grandparents: Ruth and Junior Fowble of Clive; Charles and Jean Griffith of Audubon; Shirley Bylund of Audubon; Lester and MaryAnn Olsen of Vail; Ruth Olsen of Audubon; and Joy Umland of Manning; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

To the Family,
The death of a child is one of the most painful things a parent can experience, and at times the loss can be unbearable. May you find comfort from the support of family and friends and from the comfort in knowing that God is near when our hearts are broken. He sees your tears and hears your prayers. He will heal your pain.
