Priviate Military services for Lindyn E, Andreasen, 85, were held at his home in Prosser, Wash. passed away at Callaway Gardens Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Kennewick, Wash. On Dec. 4, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Lindyn was born in Audubon on July 31, 1930 to Emil and Hildur Andreasen and passed away at Callaway Gardens Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Kennewick, Wash. On Dec. 4, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. After his military term, he returned to Iowa where he farmed until moving to Prosser, Wash. in 1969. He retired as an electrician from Westinghouse Hanford in 1992.
Lindyn was a member of AA for 37 years. Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling, remodeling his home on the river, growing flowers, snow skiing, golfing, quilting and walking his dog Skylar.
Preceding him in death were two sisters; Delia Sturgeon and Delores Larsen, and one brother Gene Andreasen. Also preceded in death was his wife Sara (Kerwin).
Survivors are his wife, Lynn, eight children: Julia, Joni, Connie, Lisa, Martin, Vincent, Patrick and Richard and their families including seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one brother, Gerald.
The family appreciates all the prayers, support and encouragement during this time. He will be deeply missed and remembered with much love.
