Funeral Service for Sandra K. Miller, 73 were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer, Neb.
Sandra Kay Miller of Kramer, Neb., while surrounded by family, passed from life through death to life eternal on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born on April 20, 1942 in Milford, Neb., to Albert and Vivian Kahle. She was baptized on June 7, 1942 in Crete, Neb. and was confirmed on June 19, 1955 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milford, Neb. Sandy attended Country School District 77 and graduated from Milford High School in 1959.
 On March 4, 1962, she married Lee Miller at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crete, Neb. Three children were born to this union: David, Steven, and Ann. For 20 years, Sandy was a devoted Air Force wife, living and traveling around the country. In 1990, Sandy and Lee moved to their present home near Kramer. Sandy loved life and was a devoted wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, completing crossword puzzles, and traveling.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Vivian Kahle of Crete, Neb.; parents-in-law Juel and Martha Miller of Audubon; and sister-in-law Marjorie Miller also of Audubon.
Sandy is survived by Lee, her husband of 53 years; her children David and wife Sue of Lincoln, Neb., Steve of Omaha, Neb., and Ann and husband Derek Armstrong of McDonough, Ga.; her grandchildren Melissa Miller of Boseman, Mont. and Jordan and Erik Armstrong of McDonough, Ga.; her sisters Judy and husband Arlyn Wohl of Crete, Neb., Karen Kahle of Omaha, Neb., and sister-in-law Linda and husband Dick Shinofield of Minneapolis, Minn. Sandy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
 In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to to St. John Lutheran Church in Kramer, Neb.
