I'm very sorry to hear the news about Joe. In 1970, I worked for his Dad, at Georgia Sporting Goods, in Augusta. Several of Joe's "tales of cadet life", at The Citadel convinced me to attend. Both he and his dad lived life to the fullest and will be missed...

I have many happy memories of spending time with the Cartledge family when we were children either at Clarks Hill or Sudlows. I will always cherish those times. Prayers for the family.
