Betty, I knew you as a child at Trinity-on=the-Hill UMC (in days when it began at the old Monte Sano School. For some reason, your name came to mind the other day. I remember your bright cheerful smile and head full of black curls. My parents were charter members of Trinity, but at age 6, Daddy moved us back to Pierce Chapel on Jackson Rd. When I was 15, I went to live with one of my sisters, Eleanor R. Holden and attended Trinity the next 5 years and married there in what is now the chapel,in 1946. I knew you as a teenager when I returned to Trinity in August 1941, and at Tubman Girls High also. I knew you married John Adams, but don't believe you attend the Tubman Alumnae meetings. I think I remember you had a brother named John. I had a younger sister, Margaret who died Feb.12 of this year.
My husband died in 2000. No matter how sick they become, there is still a void because we grieve for ourselves.
May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort you and your family, wrapping His arms of Love around each of you, and give you comfort and give you joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Love to you and all,
Sarah Alice (Reeves) Brown
