AUGUSTA, Ga. - Jewell M. Adkins, 70, entered into rest Sunday, December 7, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Adkins. She is survived by her sons, Jamie (Hope) Adkins, Appling, Richard (Norma) Adkins,; grandsons, Jay, Jacob, Trevor and Justin Adkins; sisters, Linda Wood, Pickerington, Ohio, Gladys Watson, Donnie Johnson, both of Gahanna, Ohio, Vickie Mayle, Zainesville, Ohio; brothers, Harry Lowe, George Lowe, both of Gahanna, Ohio and Terry Lowe, Zainesville, Ohio and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jackie and Anne Atkins. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, Georgia, 706-868-9637.
