Gerald Ehrlich

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Gerald Eugene Ehrlich, 80, of Augusta, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11am at Magnolia Cemetery with Rabbi David Sirrull officiating. A lifelong resident of Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Louis Samuel Ehrlich and Gertrude Kantziper. He graduated from Augusta Richmond Academy High School and the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science degree. He retired from Roche Laboratories, a division of Hoffman LaRoche, Inc. after 38 years in pharmaceutical sales. He was a member of Adas Yeshurun Synagogue. Gerald served on the synagogue board, in various capacities. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Gerald enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Ehrlich. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Harriet Cantor Ehrlich, children, Jeffrey (Donna) Ehrlich, Charlotte, NC, Beth (Tom) Eubanks, North Augusta, SC, Lisa Ehrlich, Charlotte, NC, grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Eubanks, Lee (Megan) Eubanks, Scott (April) Eubanks, Samuel Ehrlich, Abby Ehrlich, and great grandchild, Emily Ann Eubanks.
