APPLING, Ga. - Jonathan Tyler Hartman was born on February 7, 1994 in Augusta, Georgia and died on May 8, 2012. He was a member of Kiokee Baptist Church and a senior at Harlem High School where he played football, basketball, and tennis. He had a great love for the Lord, his family, and the Florida Gators. He was blessed with many friends and was a friend to all. He is survived by his father and mother, Steve and Susan Hartman, his sister Kara Lewer (Josh) and his brother Quinn. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Sam Hartman and is survived by his paternal grandmother Janet Hartman and his maternal grandparents Russell and Dorine Garrison. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Kiokee Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Noon at Kiokee Baptist Church with the Reverend Wes Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Kiokee Cemetery on Shucraft Road, Appling. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryce McDaniel, B.A. Morris, Brandon O'Neill, Logan May, Brandon Calhoun, and Jesse Gay. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Harlem High school Football, Basketball and Tennis (Men's and Women's) Teams and Coaches. In lieu of flowers donations to honor the life of Jonathan may be made to the Kiokee Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
