Kermit W. Allum Jr.

Daimler Chrysler Corporation AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Kermit W. Allum, Jr., age 64, of Augusta, entered into rest on Monday morning, March 5, 2007 at his residence. A native of Burke, SD, he had resided in the Augusta area for many years. Mr. Allum had worked, for many years, as a Sales Representative and Event Planner for the Daimler Chrysler Corporation & Milton Ruben Chrysler of Augusta. He was retired from the U.S. Army as an E-5, Sergeant, at Fort Gordon. An avid golfer, he enjoyed his membership and camaraderie at Gordon Lakes Golf Course and Country Club. He had attended the Korean Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Han Allum, who passed away in December of 2003. He is survived by: his son, Robert Allum and his wife, Sung., River Edge, NJ; 2 daughters, Cassey, Kwang Mi Yu, Korea; his mother, Rita Zimmerman, Marble Falls, TX; and 4 grandchildren, Cynthia Allum, and Vivian Allum, River Edge, NJ, Jinah Yu and and Jiyon Yu, of Korea. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, on Thursday, (today) March 8, 2007 from the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road with Pastor Yun Sang Nam, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Full Military Honors accorded by the Fort Gordon Ceremonial Detachment.
