Hi Dad,

I can't believe we are going on 6 years without you. I miss your voice and your smile. You gave me so many gifts; the most being your unconditional love. I feel it even now and it gives me the courage to get past every curve ball that life throws my way. You weren't perfect, none of us are. But what you gave me will never fade away. Thank you for always loving me the best that you knew how. I miss you Dad and you are never far from my thoughts. Love, Debbie

Chuck,

I can't believe the time has passed so fast. As you know now life is short and as sweet as you make it. Thanks for being a great uncle. I have such fond memories of my time around you and your family.

Hi Dad,

You visited again just a couple of days ago. Katie was eating her breakfast before school and we saw you outside the window. I never guessed you would take the form of a hummingbird but as I have read recently, they are very spiritual beings. How cool.

We are getting ready to remember your birthday. Can't believe you've been gone 10 mos. I think about you every day and miss you very much. I think the greatest gift you gave me was that you always had that ability to make me feel better regardless of what was happening in my life. "It will be all right honey". And I always knew that it would be. I envision you saying that now and it brings me great comfort. I can still hear your voice and I'm so grateful. I love you Dad.

CHARLES WAS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF HIS INCREDIBLE CAPACITY TO LOVE HIS FAMILY UNCONDITIONALLY. THE LOVE FOR HIS CHILDREN WAS BEAUTIFUL TO SEE. HIS "LOVE-ABILITY" WAS TRULY A GIFT FROM GOD. I'LL ALWAYS CHERISH OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES: THE PICKLE SANDWICHES FOR OUR PICNICS, HOW HE TAUGHT ME TO RIDE "OUR BIKE", HIS SERENADES TO ME OF HIS SPECIAL MADE-UP SONGS, HOW HE "MADE IT" ON HIS OWN FROM THE TIME HE WAS 15 YRS OLD, AND HOW HE REMEMBERED ME ON EVERY OCCASION THROUGH THE YEARS. HE HAD A SHORT CHILDHOOD, BUT WHAT AN ADULT LIFE HE CREATED FOR HIS FAMILY! ALL MY LOVE TO DIXIE, DEBBIE, SONNY, AND LYDIA AND THEIR FAMILIES. (SISTER) SARAH ANNE DYCHES MUNN

Hey Dad,

I can't believe you're really gone from us. I go to your house and it is not the same without you in it. You paid me a visit the other morning. I know it was you. A beautiful hummingbird greeted me as I opened the blinds. I've never seen a hummingbird in the back yard so I know it was you. I said "Hi Dad". I know you will show yourself in many different ways in the next few weeks until you're sure we're all o.k. I look forward to the next time you appear. I love and miss you. Debbie

We will never forget all the good times and the songs you sang, you were always cheerful and uplifting. You never had a bad word to say about anyone & you had that southern comfort style with family, friends and strangers. We love and miss you.
