James Stachowiak Obituary

Entered into rest Monday, June 5, 2017, Mr. James V. (Jae) Stachowiak, loving husband of 60 years to Marlene Stachowiak.

Mr. Stachowiak retired from the Army Signal Corp and co-owned with his wife the Jae-Mar-S Academy. He was a member of MENSA International. He had three degrees all from Augusta University, Georgia Military College, and St. Mary's of Texas.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: James J. and Mark Z. Stachowiak; and grandchildren: James Michael, Jonathan, Joscilynn, and Joshua.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alliance of Therapy Dogs at www.therapydogs.com, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 106 SRP Dr., Suite A, Evans, GA 30809, or to Martinez United Methodist Church, 3614 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30907.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
