EVANS, Ga. - Alan Dove Greiner, 68, husband of the late Martha "Marti" Padgett Greiner, entered into rest surrounded by his family Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Doctor's Hospital Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, Lamar Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Greiner was born in Augusta, GA to the late Dove and Maggie Ashley Greiner. His early years were spent in Blythe, GA. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Augusta State Medical Prison and a member of The Church Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Allyson Greiner; brothers, Bill and Johnny Greiner; and sister, Marthanne Croft. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lara T. and Todd "Rudy" Broome; son and daughter-in-law, Al and Denise D. Turner; beloved grandchildren, Dalton and Ana Blake Turner, Tyler, Karson and Kennedy Broome; great-granddaughter, Mallory Grace; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Keith Greiner, Craig Greiner, Matt Greiner, Eddie Greiner, Shane Peace, Robert Murray, Rocky Hendrix and Rick Grubbs. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
