AUGUSTA, Ga. - Albert W. "Al" Parrish, 84, husband of Betty Ann Parrish, entered into rest Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at his residence. Memorial services with Military Honors will be held Friday, July 17, 2015, at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. Mr. Parrish, son of the late Ima and Annie Powell Parrish, was born in Samson, AL. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Savannah River Plant for ten years and was the owner of Parrish Motors. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Robert D. Parrish, Sr., (Pam), of Martinez, Lynn Coggins (Terry), of Harlem, Donald W. Parrish, of Augusta, Angie Parrish, of Augusta, and Debbie Parrish-Brantley (Michael), of Augusta; his brother, Edwin Parrish (Jewel), of Thomasville, AL; his sister, Willa Dean Johnson, of Tifton, GA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, July 17, 2015, from 3:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
