COCHRAN, Ga. - Visitation for Mr. Albert Vernon Washington, 74, of Cochran, who died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at the Medical Center Navicent Health, will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in the Parlor of Fisher Funeral Home. A memorial services will be held at a later date. Albert Vernon Washington was born in Augusta, Georgia. A graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and Augusta College, he was a manager in the textile industry for 45 years. Vernon and his wife, Anne F. Washington, moved to Cochran, Georgia after retiring in 2005. He is survived by his wife and three children: LuAnne (Bill) Holladay, of Bloomington, Indiana; John Clark, of Acworth, Georgia; and Amy (Brent) DuBois, of Danville, Georgia. He is also survived by a sister, Judith Gore, of Underhill, Vermont; and Carolyn Hackett, of Copperas Cove, Texas. Mr. Washington has five grandchildren: Madison and Brynleigh Clark, of Acworth, Georgia; and Seth, Beau, and Albert J. DuBois, of Danville, Georgia.
