MARTINEZ, Ga. - Allen Charles Suchko, 63, of Martinez, GA, passed away peacefully though unexpectedly on April 10, 2015. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on January 26, 1952, son of the late Charles and Sophie (Klus) Suchko. Allen is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosemary; daughter, Stacy (Ben) Tanner of Grovetown, GA; son, Michael of Houston, TX and grandsons, Logan and Cole Tanner. He will be greatly missed by sister, Charlene (Richard) Loughman-Wright of Westtown, NY; brother, Gerald Suchko of West Newton, PA; nieces, Crisseda (John) Besson, Elyssa Suchko and Caitlyn Suchko. Allen spent the majority of his career as a nuclear engineer. Upon retiring from that industry, he operated Aiken-Augusta Auto Body, Inc., in North Augusta, SC, for nine years before retiring for the second time. He enjoyed a passion for antique automobiles. He was especially proud of his fully restored 1954 Cadillac Biarritz convertible which was a national first place winner from the Antique Automobile Club of America in Hershey, PA. He passed peacefully in his sleep while attending a car show in Charlotte, NC, an event he attended faithfully. He loved the car joke "He who dies with the most toys wins," and if the adage is true, he sure gave it a good shot. He collected cars the way most women collect shoes, having different colors and finishes, both casual and fancy (like his Rolls-Royce), but a definite affinity towards American models. In recent years, he enjoyed dabbling in the stock market and a nightly bowl of banana split ice cream. Visitations and funeral services are being handled by the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 W. Main Street, Monongahela, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the , Great Rivers Affiliate, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693. Online condolences may be made to the family at
