AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, January 25, 2015 at University Hospital, Ann Herman Rodgers, age 61. Ann was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. She retired as the executive officer for US Army Garrison at Fort Gordon. She loved her family and she loved the beach. Family members include daughter: Jennifer Rodgers Durham and husband Blake; grandchildren: Maguire, Mayers, Maslin, Maeli, and Maribel; brothers: Edward George Herman and Thomas Joseph Herman; nieces: Caroline Herman Melles, Hannah Herman, Shelbi Herman. Ann was predeceased by her parents: Marion Joseph Herman and Helen Crawford Herman. A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. A vigil service will be held on Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends following from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M.
