NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - The relatives and friends of Mr. Anson L. Harding, known affectionately by his family and many friends as "Red", who went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 18th, 2016, beloved husband of sixteen years to Mrs. Fran Harding, are invited to attend A Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Jack Atkinson officiating. Jay Armstrong, Patrick Prine, Wes Poplin, Brian Mitchell, John Reiner, Jesse Moody, Josh Oxendine, Brian Holland, Kevin Moody and Milton Renew will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. In accordance with his wishes, Red will be cremated following the service. The family will greet friends Friday from 6 until 8 o'clock and on Saturday from 1 until 2 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC. Born in Orangeburg, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of his life, he was a son of the late Jesse and Annie Walling Harding. He was co-owner of Janson Construction. Red was a walking testimony of what God will do in your life if you let him, He never judged anyone and looked past the faults in others. He was a member of the Faith Riders Fellowship. Red had a passion for music. He enjoyed playing as well as singing music, fixing up things around the house and let us not forget, he was a "jokester". A biker through and through, he loved riding his 2004 Electra Glide, "Ruby". "Live to Ride ..Ride to Live." In addition to his wife and parents, family members include, his girls, Amber Moody and her husband, Kevin, Trenton, SC, Alicia Renew and her husband, Milton, Trenton, SC, Sarah Ann Harding, North Augusta, SC, his baby girl, Amanda Faith Harding, North Augusta, SC and even though not a biological daughter, Kristina Flanagan, Aiken, SC, who Red loved just as she was his own. Siblings, Dianne Cook, Warrenville, SC and the late Jay Harding, grandchildren, Jesse Moody, Jacob Moody, Kody Moody, Tony Harms and Gage Renew, his aunt, Jewel "Mama Jewel" Walling, Warrenville, SC; niece, Lori Harding, Windsor, SC; nephews, Brian Mitchell, TN, Patrick Prine, Graniteville, SC and Wes Poplin, Barnwell, SC, and of course last but not least his best friend and business partner, Jay Armstrong and his wife, Andra, who have stood by Fran and the girls, through it all. Red would have appreciated memorials in his memory being made to Christ Central Aiken.
