Mrs. Betty Joyce Stanley, beloved wife of 43 years to Daniel (Dick) Stanley, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2017.

Mrs. Stanley was born on January 7, 1937, in Hendersonville, N.C. to the late Carl Aldrich and Mary Verdery Frady. She moved to Augusta in 1952 and has resided in Hephzibah for the last 43 years. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister and homemaker. Mrs. Stanley was a member of and very active in Whispering Pines Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George V. Frady, Carl A. Frady, Jr., Charles Toby Frady, and a son, David Wayne Hutto.

She is survived by her husband and her children, Ronald Lee Hutto, Douglas Earl Hutto and Susan Renee Hutto; step-children Janice Faith Blitchington, Beverly Mills Stanley, Sandra Jean Stanley, Daniel F. Stanley, III, Kenneth Warren Stanley and Jimmy Ray Stanley; sister, Patricia F. Larmon, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Additional survivors include sister-in-law, Patricia Kirksey, brothers-in-law, Ronnie Stanley (Patricia), Mickey Stanley (Kitty) and Arthur Lee Stanley.

A Memorial Service will be held at Whispering Pines Baptist Church on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., presided by Rev. Kevin Towns.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Whispering Pines Baptist Church, Hephzibah, GA.
