OXFORD, Ga. - Billie Wilder, 67, of Oxford, GA, died Friday, May 29th, 2015 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born to the late Willie and Nellie Wallace Wilder in Savannah, GA. He spent a majority of his life in Augusta, GA. He served his country in the United States Army for 22 years along with a tour in Vietnam. He also worked for Savannah River Site until retiring after 17 years. Mr. Wilder enjoyed golfing, DIY projects, and being outdoors. He was very close to his family and loved them all, was a true family man. Mr. Wilder is survived by his wife Jacquelyn Wilder; a daughter, Monet Lopez Wilder of Stockbridge, GA; sons, Darren (Kimberly) Wilder of Augusta, GA, Desmond Wilder of Augusta, GA, and Kelvin (Harriet) Jackson, of Savannah, GA.; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Gwen Wilder, Willa Wilder, Albertha Wilder, and GeorgeAnn (Eugene) Harper, all of Augusta, GA; a brother, Daniel Wilder of Augusta, GA; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Barry Wallace and Cordell Wilder. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6th, 2015 at 1pm at Kinsey-Walton Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. Inurnment Services will be held from the graveside with military honors Sunday, June 7th at 11am in Kennedy Memorial Gardens in Ellenwood, GA.
