(Bobby) LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. James Robert (Bobby) Joyce, of Reed Road, entered into rest August 19, 2015 at his residence. A resident of Lincoln County since 1983, he had retired as a salesman in the food service industry. He was a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia S. Joyce; an aunt, Erma Lee Thigpen; nephews Stacy Joyce, Chuck Smith, Mike Smith, Doug Smith, and Drew Wilson; and nieces, Vanessa Gill and Lisa Freeman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vann Joyce. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 11:00am from the First Assembly of God Church in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00am until the hour of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
