GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mrs. Bonita L. Wallace entered into rest on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church with Rev. William Blount officiating. Burial will be at Bellevue Memorial Garden. Mrs. Wallace, a native of Paterson, NJ, received her Bachelors Degree in English from Voorhees College, a Masters of Education in 2005 and a Specialists Degree in Education Administration in 2010. She was an active member of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church and was a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Her professional career include teaching at several high schools in Georgia and South Carolina and most recently at Augusta Youth Development Center where she was named Most Dedicated Teacher. Survivors are her husband, Lawrence Wallace; daughter, Kimberly Adams, Grovetown; son, Jason Adams, Grovetown; father, Robert Chase, Napa Valley, CA; sisters, Renee (Robert) Henry, Columbus, OH, Barbara (Ronald) Barnes, Johnston, SC; brother, Michael Chase, Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren, Jashon and Jayla Adams; and other relatives.
