EVANS, Ga. - Brian G. Bentley went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2013. Mr. Bentley was from Lincolnton GA but lived most of his life in Evans GA. He was employed by International Paper and was always known to be a very honest and hard-working man. He had a special personality that allowed him to bring laughter to those closest to him. In his spare time, Mr. Bentley was an avid hunter and fisherman. It was these hobbies that allowed him to do what he loved best and that was spending time with his two sons who were the joy of his life. He is survived by his former wife and mother of his two sons, Tricia Barrett Bentley; sons, Barrett Bentley and Blake Bentley; his parents, Mr. Ben Bentley and Mrs. Beverly Bentley; his sister, Beverly Bentley McCrary; and brother, Ben Benji Bentley Jr.; and the uncle of Brooke Bentley, Bentley McCrary. In honoring the life of their loved one, the family invites friends to a Celebration of Life Service which will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 6pm-7pm for visitation and services will be held at 7pm-8pm at Stevens Creek Church. Pastor Dave Willis will officiate.
