KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Brian Kelly Gowen went home to be with his Lord February 13, 2016. Kelly graduated from Evans High School in 1976 and Atlanta Christian College in 1981. Throughout his ministry of 38 years, he served Independent Christian Churches in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Ohio, and West Virginia. Kelly was a loving husband and father, and he also loved singing, song writing, and serving others. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sheila Sargent Gowen of Kissimmee, FL; son, Austin Grant Gowen and daughter, Ashleigh Logan Gowen, both of Akron, OH. Other survivors include his mother, Patricia M. Gowen; brother, William Obrene Gowen, Jr. (Sonia); sisters, M. Charlene Gowen and V. Lee Gowen; mother-in-law, Juanita Sargent; brothers-in-law, William R. Sargent, Jr. (Paula) and Brian Sargent (Liz); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, William O. Gowen, Sr. and father-in-law, William R.
