NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Dr. C.F. Johnson, Jr., MD, 65, of White Oak Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest March 17, 2016, will be conducted this Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. Dr. Ryan Pack and Dr. Randy Cooper officiating. Private Family interment in the Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery, Warrenton, Georgia. Dr. Johnson was a native of Warrenton, Georgia, having made North Augusta his home for the past 36 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. Dr. Johnson attended the Citadel on a Football Scholarship and was a 1976 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia serving a residency in Anesthesiology and a one year residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a distinguished practice of 41 years in Anesthesiology. He was an avid sports fan having coached and mentored many local youth. Dr. Johnson was predeceased by his parents, C. F. and Margie Johnson and a brother, Jimmy Johnson. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Donna Perks Johnson; four sons and daughters-in-laws, Kevin and Dawn Johnson, Dalton, Georgia, Keith and Virginia Johnson, Warrenton, Lance Johnson and Brett and Ashton Johnson, all of North Augusta; a daughter and son-in-law, Hollie and Lee Hutto, Thomson; nine grandchildren, Hunner Smith, Patterson Hutto, Dalton Shelley, Abbigail Johnson, Mary Charles Johnson, Sara Beth Johnson, Kevin Fountain Johnson, Jr., Avery Johnson and Tate Johnson; a brother, Terry (Ginny) Johnson, Warrenton; a sister-in-law, Jayne Ellen Johnson, West Palm Beach, Florida; Walking "Dawgs" Buddies, Dooley, Georgia and Gurley. Pallbearers will be Dr. Gregory Gay, Glen Cheatham, Dr. Robert Oliver, Bobby Thigpen, Dr. Jeff Adkins and Dr. Andrew Robbins.
