NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mr. Charles M. "Bubba" Tabor, 85, who entered into rest January 30, 2014, and his beloved wife of 62 years, Mrs. Betty Robinson Tabor, 83 who entered into rest February 1, 2014,of Hillside Drive, North Augusta, SC, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. John M. Bolin officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens with Veterans Honors. Mr. Tabor was a native of Anderson, SC, having made Aiken County his life-long residence. He was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church, a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and the retired owner of Tabor Hardware of Clearwater. Mrs. Tabor was a life-long resident of Aiken County. She was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church, a retired Registered Nurse at Georgia Regional Hospital and the retired owner of Tabor Sportswear of Clearwater. Survivors include their daughter, Lynn Puckett, North Augusta; four grandchildren, Jeffery Wade Wheeler, Jr. (Kristin), Lauren Wheeler, Dalton Puckett and Devon Puckett; one great-grandchild, Caroline Grace Wheeler. Mr. Tabor is also survived by a brother, Don Tabor, Trenton, SC. Mrs. Tabor is also survived by a nephew, Tim Wilson, North Augusta. Pallbearers will be Tim Wilson, Jr., Jeff Wheeler, Chris Wilson, Billy Tabor, Jim Hatcher and Michael Hawthorne.
