AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Charles Horace Eagle was born on October 24, 1961 to the late Horace and Marie Jones Eagle. Mr. Eagle entered into eternal rest peacefully in the comfort of his home on January 11, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Trinity C.M.E. Church, 2930 Glenn Hill Drive, Augusta with Reverend Dr. Willie Wiley, eulogist. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. *The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Eagle attended and graduated from Academy of Richmond County High School and continued his education at Savannah State University. During his time at Savannah State, he became a member of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the spring of 1983. Mr. Eagle also met his wife-to-be, the late Dierdra Caldwell-Eagle, while attending Savannah State. The two shared their love with the world and wed August 13, 1994. Over the last 28 years, he became a staple and friend to many of the members, patrons and staff at the esteemed Augusta Country Club. His loving spirit, energy, and talents will be truly missed by all. Mr. Eagle's legacy will carry on through the lives of his daughter, Barbara Deyonna Caldwell of Augusta; devoted friend, Anita Sneed of Augusta; uncles, Roy (LaVetta) Jones of Augusta, James Thomas, Jr. of Queens, NY and William Gracy, Jr. of Augusta; aunts, Vivian (Ronald) Brooks of Augusta, Wilhelmena Anderson of Cleveland, OH, Vanessa (James) Herbert of Augusta and Rita (Leroy) Kelly-Sanders of Stone Mountain; mother-in-law, Charline Caldwell of Augusta; brother-in-law, Gregory Taylor, Jr. of Augusta; devoted cousins, Karen (Johnnie) Cain, Ruby Levicey, Robert Nelson, Austin Morman and Tara Gracy of Augusta, Stephanie (Rodney) Cross and Felicia (Kamau) Nickerson of Atlanta and a host of other relatives and friends.
